Montpellier

When Ari told me that we would be able to stop in Montpellier during our southern France excursion, I was very happy. My dad had studied medicine in the Faculte de Medicine at Montpellier, and I was excited to learn more about the places he had visited during his stay. I called up my mom and dad from there, and they shared with me some of their memories about the city.

Ari was super sweet and followed me around with the iPad to take pictures of me in the Place de la Comedie, in front of the university, in Parc du Peyrou, etc. I imagined my mom & dad walking the narrow streets decades ago, drinking coffee in the cafe-trottoir, going to the university. It was a nice feeling, and I am very happy we stopped there.
